This is what I walked out to on my way to my car yesterday. We have a known pigeon overpopulation problem under the bridge where we work. The city has resorted to just shooting them. Notice the spot in the blood coagulation where the last breaths were placed.

In the future I shall be sure to read the blog before I click on the pictures to enlarge them. At first glance I thought the bird had a bright red beak. I was greatly mistaken.
