I learned recently, as I was researching behaviors for my job, that toddlers do that to get a different perspective on the world. Once they have figured out what everything looks like right side up, they are curious to see it upside down. They think it's funny! Who wouldn't :)

We've got pictures of Uncle Scott doing this, so he probably taught Pela's Daddy, who is now passing the skill through the next generation!
I know a certain someone who loves to do that. But surely she didn't learn it from him.
