Well, I was sweeping a chimney with some flexible copper tubing, scraping pipes with creosote, of course. We found out that half a brick dropped down a clogged chimney does not always remove blockage. The brick fell about five feet to the clog. One must then grab a piece of 1.5" conduit and cram it down like a muskit. The brick decision was one of those where you shrug the shoulders and say, "what's the worst that can happen?" Then you go, "oh". anyhow, live and learn, eh?
