ahh rhapsodizing by a fire...

one of our favorite treats is when Dr. Reneau treats us to a dissertation on the nature of beauty in earnest.  By fire light on a cold, late winter evening, his words simply come alive, and they do massage the soul to latent ponderings of this way and that.  One knows not beauty in earnest until one witnesses words of mounting value passing through teeth below a single lip lined with mustache hair; simply riveting...

though a mustache can say many things about a persons high intelligence I can attest to the fact that none of those apply in this case. That Whitmanesque banter, yeah, that never happened. But there was a short conversation that had something to do with hiding grapes under cheese and everyone feeling awkward.
