So, BJ is frightened to the core of his cat-bones when Sarah's father comes to town. It's something about the tone and resonance of his voice, we think. He runs immediately to the basement and climbs through the insulation and hides beneath the floorboards.
He hid there for two days, and would sleep with us at night. When the visit was over, he crept out after another full day, writhing and flipping whilst licking his shoulder blades. The photos tell the story best:evidence of a systemic allergic reaction.
The only other detail is that Sarah is finding little Tombstone pizza cheese crumb scabs all over the house. He's feeling much better now...

Eww. That is not pleasant, but I'm glad BJ is healing!
No more tombstone pizza for me. Thanks for the visual.
You're welcome. That visual was from Sarah's imagination. Tombstone, cat scab, same sodium count and great taste!
poor Beej, can't you give him some kitty drugs to make him more "relaxed"?
we did. the mobile vet came out, which Sarah deems a blessing to all pet owners:$26 for a check up, prescription & shot. Beej got pills in tuna for about six days. He felt better after two pills. He just lost his last scab... somewhere.
I think he needs the pills before her Dad comes over. Is that what you mean Gail? Cats on sedatives are fun : )
exactly, drug em' up before hand
