corn shuckin

It's been a fine long weekend here in KC.  We have taken our many walks, and spent some time in Lawrence on Saturday(pics to come).  

I learned that a sheet of glass can disintegrate in your hands if you hold it wrong.    I guess I have only dealt with large frames of glass.  Thankfully my feet were not below it directly, and I suffered no harm.  The front porch and yard were covered in little diamonds of glass.  I spent an hour or so vacuuming the front cement steps and the front lawn.  That's a new one for me.
